Good morning!

I was hoping to go to the store and the bank today, but parts of our road are still snow packed into ice. It's well above freezing, so maybe tomorrow would be better. Except it's supposed to rain.

I'm not so sweet I'll melt.

I always said I float as I said I was sh*t.
We were going to go shopping.
No one woke till after 10 but me yes was up at 8.
We are just wet.

That we did. Eldest son did not make it home for Christmas... but we had the rest of the boys, with new bride.

From last week, when we had a big dump of fresh snow. Christ is born!!!

What a beautiful story book setting! No snow here at least through the 9th of January. We've only had a dusting so far. Truly weird weather for Missouri in winter.

That was a commonly used expression when I was a kid. I was told more than once to take cover before the rains hit.

As a child, when my siblings and I would balk at having to walk in the rain to school, my Mom would tell us “you were wet before you were ever dry” and shoo us out. Miss you, Mom.
