The Old Folks Home

Saw the cardiologist today. My echocardiogram was ok, which is great. Time for another monitor, which was applied today. On the worst eczema affected area, currently my chest. First they sand the area with sand paper, then apply alcohol ( ouch). Then some sort of glue I guess. And I am going to have a stress test ( chemical). I am too short of breath for a treadmill test.
That sounds incredibly terrible!!

So sorry!

I have had it done before. Nothing compared to falling on a bucket. And surgery in the same area a couple months after that.
But I can always use sympathy, lol. Hubby says I agreed to have the lipoma surgery, so it's my fault that I am hurting. He thinks everyone should be as tough as he is

Hubby is complaining about our lack of snow. 175 miles north, they've had over 100". Here? Maybe 8-10 total, with no more than 4-5" on the ground at one time. Mostly an inch or less.

I tell him we are FREAKIN' LUCKY we are not going to get the storm that's going to cross the country in the next couple days. The power would probably be out, and the neighbor's med deliveries would probably not be able to get through. (These are critical cardiac meds.) Yeah, man, we are lucky. Don't complain.
