Good Morning old folks. Our day is starting out cloudy with a dense fog.

I've move the thermostat over to AC. Set on 77°. Not cold enough at night to need any heat now but it gets warm enough by day to heat the house up to where we can't sleep well. An hour before bedtime I'll set it on 72° for the night and let nature cool us down to 68 -70°. Going to investigate a day night thermostat that would keep a feeble mind from forgetting to make the shift changes.

Good Morning Old Folks. It's a nippy 66° down this way this morning but will warm to the upper 70's. Only 76° today but after that even one 80° day. It's looking a lot like spring here. Lots of green matter coming out of the ground now. Chickens are happy.

In the deep south anything below 70° brings out the sleeves with at minimum a sweater or windbreaker after a long summer of muggy heat.

Good Morning Old Folks. We might get to see 80° for a bit this afternoon for the first time in 2025. Cold snap is on the horizon for us.
