Hi everyone just thankful I can get on here for a few minutes. Yesterday not at all. Hope you all are doing well. My birds have no idea anything happened other than they can’t go to their upper property since the fence is no longer there. Other than that they are happy.

Always good to hear updates from you!

Thanks it’s going to be quite a while before we get power so much damage. But thankfully we do have a generator. We have been able to get gas since yesterday. Our road is a mess but a neighbor with a tractor tried his best to make it so we can get out . I went out yesterday with my dh to get feed I think that did for me. Once we get service back I’ll share pics no one can believe unless they see it in person. All roads around here mainly where they were close to the river are gone. Bridges are either gone or damaged. But thank God we’re still alive many didn’t make it. Chimney Rock where they made most of the movie Last of the Mohicans is completely gone I haven’t heard how many survived if any.

Bless you for caring I am able to text now first time all day probably won’t last long. Still no power but we got a hot meal from where our son works which was nice.

I am glad people are thinking about you. I sure wish I lived closer to you right now. Our work took up a big collection and is buying things like water and necessities for the states that got hit so hard. One of our driver's husband is delivering it all which is nice of him. You are in my prayers my Dear along with all of the others that this has affected so badly.

This is heart breaking for sure. All we can do is pray for you and the others that have survived this terrible storm. I am so thankful that you are safe and that you have your faith which can get us through any storm we go through in life my Dear.

Does anyone on here know why my young Black East Indies ducks would suddenly develop white mouths and tongues??? I have had ducks for years and have never seen anything like this before. I am not sure what to do for them. Help!!!!

I would think so, actually. And maybe lay off of the nutritional yeast for a bit at the same time.
