I will say there is never a dull moment when you have that many kiddos!
The ages are pretty spread out though, because she got divorced and remarried between #2 and #3.... 5 kids, ages 18-2 😂

Oh wow that is definitely very spread out!!

Have you ever seen that Duggar family show!? They have like 19 kids! :th

Ugh, I just straight up murdered one of the ko shamo eggs :hit

I was opening the incubator to candle them real quick (this was one of the eggs that I set three-ish days ago) and the lid slipped and came down directly with all its force on this one egg. No saving it, totally smashed, egg white leaking into the incubator.

The worst part? The other two are developing beautifully, so chances are that one was too :( so I almost definitely killed it.

😭😭😭😭
Gosh darn it!
Are you using the nurture right? That lid is the one thing I dislike about that incubator. Very clumsy to take on and off.

I was out bid on the GFF mixed eggs. Oh well... Those Golden Deathlayers are already around $140.
I saw the sad face on being out bid. Fear not, for I am a man of many fluid plans! I plan on making plans for failed plans. ;)

These are from the lady who sold me the 55F eggs. At the time of buying the 55F, her BBS Birchen Marans where not available. Shipping on both of these are $15. I'd only get 1 set though.

The Dampieere would be for making meat bird crosses. I would still like to go forward with that plan, but no longer have a breed I'd like to use. Damps are not my first choice, but this is an adorable offer. I had great success with her 55F eggs, so I'd be willing to reconsider my "perfect breed" choice for a good success rate.

Now, she does sell eggs that are in my "perfect breed" range, but through her own website, which it's much more expensive. To expensive for today.

You can bet there is a plan to back up this plan too! ;)

Here's something more budget friendly. Plus I've been looking for Runner eggs. All the Runner eggs I find are pretty expensive and are "high" quality. I'm just looking to add color to the current flock, pet quality is fine. Anywho, these are a potential cross, but it's okay too. The 2 drakes are a Blue Runner and Silver Mallard Call. I don't get where the mallard part comes in, but he's awfully cute.

These are their offspring. It's still pretty easy to tell what's a Runner and a cross. Even the crosses are pretty cute. :D
