Thank you! I can get online this morning on my phone what a blessing to be able to text and be part of the world again for how ever long it lasts. Not much has changed they have no idea when we will get power back so many sub stations hurt from the amount of rain and our power pole is across the river laying on the side of the mountain. But we’re using our generator which has helped to keep our food from going bad we turn it on 3 x a day for about 3 hrs. All my flock is doing good so I am very thankful for that. Anyway just wanted to update and say hello. Hope all of you are doing well along with your animals.❤️
So happy to hear that you are still doing alright my Dear. I have been praying that you get power back on soon. Glad that your flock is doing well too. Hopefully they can get it restored before too much longer. So sorry to hear about your power pole. I can see why they have not been able to speedily get it back on with the situation you are in. I just pray that they can get to it soon. Sure miss hearing from you regularly. Take good care of yourself and Hubby and the flock which I know you will.

Does anyone on here know why my young Black East Indies ducks would suddenly develop white mouths and tongues??? I have had ducks for years and have never seen anything like this before. I am not sure what to do for them. Help!!!!
It all went away as soon as it came. So strange but they are all three fine now. My one has a tumor on the side of its head that it was born with but it is still alive at 5 weeks and acts perfectly normal so I have left it alone. I tried doctoring it for weeks with no success and then had someone that studies ducks tell me it looked like a brain tumor to them. No feathers on the buldge, just skin but it is not suffering so I decided to let it live out its life for as long as it can. It's only 5 weeks old now and eats and drinks and gets around fine.
