Beautiful Ducks!!!Explorers when hungry…
'tis the season!Is everybody hibernating?
I am still here too. Just trying to check on here to see what's going on and working too. Tis the season to be busy for sure. I hope everyone is doing well.'tis the season!
Seriously wish I was but too many responsibilities. How have you been, my friend?
It resembles some of the Hawks we have here. I am glad that your birds were smart enough to take cover. This guy visited us today... looks a bit like a kookaburra? But definitely is not one
"Common buzzard" is I believe the correct name (lat. buteo buteo).
He said oh look, ducks!
The ducks ran into a bushy corner and froze. The old(er) drake stood in front of them .. The young one hid in their midst (defense in depth!).

Agree, looks like what we call a hawk over here. What we call buzzards here have naked heads and are Carrion eaters
The sad thing with these BoPs is that when they're young and inexperienced, they sometimes kill a domestic duck and are then unable to lift it from the ground...This guy visited us today... looks a bit like a kookaburra? But definitely is not one
