Dog "may" have done the tail feather plucking, but most dogs aren't gonna get up on that roof, and most dogs would leave the squeaky toys there after it stopped being "fun" ... May have more than one type of predator though ...

I think the roof was probably an owl. There have been coyotes, opossums, raccoons, snakes, I think a bobcat about a year ago. Never seen any but the snakes during the day, though.

Sorry for your loss but I think u need to lock them in at night to increase their chances of survival

I do lock them in at night, except the two that stay out of my reach.
