Things chicken mothers go through - Naughty things our chickens do

My hens, who all have plenty of nest boxes in their own coops, wait until I release them in the morning to lay their eggs in other hens' coops. I guess it's their take on the old "grass is always greener" idiom.

Unfortunately, when three to four hens all decide to lay in the same box, eggs can easily get broken. And, there's a lot of really loud, really impatient chicken yelling.

Great thread!

Our eldest, Susie, was spoiled rotten in her previous home. She likes to jump up on the outdoor table to peer in at us through the window begging for treats.
"Hello, you seem to have forgotten..."
"Helloooo, I would like to speak to the manager immediately!"
Kitty laser eyeballs are nothing compared to chicken laser eyeballs.

Yes! That is exactly what I go through every time I let the chickens out, but it is so hard to get them off the porch because they are so cute and adorable. :) Oh! And if you don't give them treats, they poop on the porch! :)

You like my chicken, Chubbs? :)
Oh, why am I even asking, she is not even unlikable! :)
