Hello! Here are some things that I don't feed my chickens.

Avocado skin or pit! (toxic)
apple seeds
chocolate and candy
onions and garlic
rhubarb leaves
raw potato
rotten food
ANY CITRUS!!!
coffee grounds
Raw Beans

I’d recommend making a separate list for treats, then, as your title is a bit misleading.

Out of all them I've fed onions, apples, cat food and bread in moderation of course with no I'll effects. They've never touched the onions so I stopped.

Add raw beans. Plenty of other things one shouldn't feed chickens. Somewhere out there exists an exhaustive list of foods and plants that are poisonous to chickens.

I feed my chickens bread every day, and saves money on feed because we get it free. It doesn't hurt them.
Cat food is also fine for chickens, but shouldn't be a lot at a time.

This is not a source; it is just copying what someone wrote online. Who wrote it, where, and when, are all required of a source of information.

Some of what you say is accurate, and some of it is not. Actually, even the bit you quote does not support what you claim. You've transformed a qualification on a positive recommendation to feed chickens cat food when they are molting, into a warning about not ever feeding it because it can be toxic or deadly. If you want to be helpful to others, you need to read more carefully, and support what you assert with evidence.

Not to be nitpicky, but bread is neither toxic or deadly to chickens. I would never make it their sole source of nutrients, but it's a great treat once in a while, especially if you have some stale bread you want to get rid of. Mine adore leftover pancakes.

Sorry to be critical but your list doesn't work. Garlic? Yeah no, it's fine. I don't even see cat food on the list so it must be been edited but I for sure will give a can of tuna and/or cat food when they're molting/winter needing a protein hit. Bread is not toxic. It's not beneficial at all and should not replace or supplement feed but I'm definitley not worried about a pizza crust getting tossed to them. It's just not a great list. Some of it yes, but not all.
