This looks like a lavender chick🤔

Okay…help me think this through.
My breeding pen is completely enclosed. The rooster is a BCM. I have one Ameraucana that lays this light bluish colored egg. So this chick is an F1OE. The hen is a brown partridge color. I do have a splash hen that is an F1OE that I am backcrossing with my BCM. Her eggs are a light mossy olive that is kind of greyish. Another chick has hatched from my F1OE eggs(the same BCM rooster and Ameraucana hen) and it is black, which is what I was expecting. Same eggs folks!!! What am I missing?!
I do have a Lavender Orpington breeding pen. My LO eggs are pinkish cream.

I have attached some eggs for reference. The hatched light blue are the same egg as the non hatched labeled F1OE egg. The BC1OE is the other hen in the same breeding pen.

Could this be a splash??

What is a BCM? Black copper or blue copper?
The hen is brown partridge.
You say you have an adult splash hen from that pairing? Not possible. Splash comes from blue X blue or blue X splash.
If the rooster is blue copper I'd say the adult hen and the hatched chick are both blue.
If the rooster is black copper I'd say these birds make no sense.

Black Copper Marans rooster. No blue in the one at all. I have 2 BCM hens and the one Splash F1OE. That’s it!! I’m SO stumped!

And the partidge Ameraucana, which is how I am getting my F1OE. I have 6 of these eggs hatching today, so we’ll see how they turn out. They have consistently been black though. SO

As it is drying, I’m thinking it has to be a splash, but here are the pics of the adults. The splash is from when she was much younger.

I’m so confused. Are you saying the BCM and the partridge hen are the parents of the splash hen? Or is the splash a possible parent of the odd chick that hatched? BCM rooster with either the splash hen or the partridge hen would never make a splash chick.
