Thoughts on Bluebonnet Feeds?

What it says on the tin: has anyone used and/or heard good or bad things about Bluebonnet Feeds? I'm eyeing hopefully-less-stinky-than-Purina feed options, and their 30% stater is looking pretty decent and reasonably priced, but I haven't seen anyone mentioning them on this board:

I'm also looking at Hudson Feeds, but they're pricier and I do not know why they would want to feed pork to quail, and at Kruse's Perfection, which for some reason cuts their feed with diatomaceous earth. Because they want their feed-dust to be extra abrasive on the lungs, I guess? lol

Also, @Nabiki , do you remember where you got the numbers for fat and lysine you used in your What to Feed Coturnix article? I'm having a hard time finding those levels in the feeds I'm looking at, and an abysmal time finding then in the literature.

...You know you're too deep in the quail rabbit hole when you're reading academic abstracts before bed ;)

I have no experience with the Bluebonnet brand, but did order a bag of the Hudson 28% starter when I was first starting with quail. I don't recall noticing the "porcine derived meat & bone meal", but probably wouldn't have had a problem with it. When I ordered that bag, I also got a bag of Hudson's 18% Multi-Flock (didn't know better). It was my first ever Chewy order and with discounts, I basically paid for one bag and got 2 - 50 pound bags, but cost was a factor in moving me away from that brand. I see it's gone up even more since I ordered it 3 years ago. I don't remember any smell issues. I tried multiple feeds before finding a "local" mill in Dublin, TX (Golden Oak) that has a 28% starter and 24% grower. Each is less than $20 per 50 pound bag. Calcium, lysine and methionine are a bit low (particularly in the grower), but that's pretty much true of every brand I've found. While trying various feeds, the Purina brands definitely caused the smelliest poop.
