Woohoo! Got my first quail egg! It was a soft shell and frozen and broken, but an egg lol. I haven't been checking since they just turned 6 weeks yesterday. They are supposed to lay at 6-12ish weeks, usually around 8 and not in freezing weather so I wasn't checking for them yet. I'm just glad I have at least 1 girl out of the 5, lol. Time to get the incubator back up and running soon.

i thought it was cute... he was on my hood and got down so i hurryed and snaped it with my phone..

critter i had a few like that also.. maybe its a hot spot in your incubator can you number them and alternate the eggs.. just a thought

I sold 10 Cochins last night and have someone interested in the Silkies. Don't worry peeps! I kept the ones that I wanted in the first place. The black and white feathered cochins. I forget what they're called. the Millie's I think.
