To broody or not to brood

So I have this silkie hen and she is determined to be a mom but she gets up off the eggs at lockdown and she has done this twice now she is trying to go broody again should I let her?
do you know for how long she is off? I know they need to get off like once a day to eat drink poop and (if they are waterfowl, take a lil swim) then they go back on

wait oh 'my bad' i thought lockdown meant like every night at sunset when they get locked up for the night .
But now I see maybe it means the last few days of brooding?

yep but here's the thing I put eggs under her when she has commited to brooding which means a couple days into broody but the first few days she gets on and off each time on longer than before

Id say no if you dont have somewhere for the eggs to go if she abandons them.

Is she in her own coop with the eggs?
she is in the coop with the rest of the flock I have a Bator but she usually does it when its really cold out and the eggs die when she gets off them
