Incubator has arrived! I had to go to work like 15 minutes after we got it out of the box, but husband set it up and said it came up to temp very quickly!

That's my favorite incubator! I've had great hatches with my Brinsea Ovation incubators

Do you have a 2nd thermometer to verify the temp? I did have to calibrate one of mine I caught it before I put eggs in it, once I adjusted the calibration it held the correct temperature the whole time

The eggs have landed!

They're a little more dirty than I'd like, and at least 2 of them look like they've been in contact with broken eggs. But for less than the price of grocery store eggs I guess I can't complain too much.

I've wiped as much of the dirt off as I can with a dry paper towel. But I wasn't sure if I should try to clean the dried egg stuff with a dampened towel or just leave it.

Also, what would be the best to mark the eggs? I've used pencil in the past but wasn't sure if I could use something darker, like dry erase o permanent marker.
