To those who dub their roosters

Ideally you want to dub before the comb becomes too mature. Who would be doing the dubbing for you? It is not hard to do but it should be done or supervised by someone with experience. Fully dubbed modern has to be cut to the skull, and if you don't have the heart to do it then find someone that can because any excess or untrimmed pieces are undesirable. Also you wana do it right the first time so you don't have to repeat the process.

NOTE: Please don't post if this topic disturbs you.

At what age is appropriate for the best results when dubbing roosters? How old is too old for dubbing? The birds to be dubbed are bantam OEG and bantam OEG mixes with single combs.
I dub mine when there about 10 months old to a year old some times at 8 months old it depended how fast they developed there combs and how fast they grow it all depends but I wouldn’t dub under 8 months old but I raise gamefowls so I dub them around 8 months to a year old normally at a year old I do it but sometimes at 10 months old but every one got a different opinion on how old you should dub them
