Tomato sauce?

I've given my chickens leftover spaghetti a bunch of times...they pretty much love it. Especially if its meat sauce. I just make sure to chop it up into a bunch of small pieces is all.
 
Is anyone concerned about the salt content of human foods for chickens at all? I'm just wondering because I read that too high salt can be deadly for chickens. I have zero experience because I've only given my chicks raw veggies w/o any seasonings.
