Ewww Balut eggs! Used to see them on Fear Factor! I don't eat egg whites, never have. Actually that's not true...I will eat the whites if they are boiled and deviled or boiled and pickled. But just whites, like a fried egg..no..ugh...vomit. Slimy.

Listen there are foods in other states I wouldn't touch, lol. It's funny how we are all raised on different food likes and dislikes and without even thinkin about it most of it comes from our immigrant ancestors! The only thing most kids can agree on is McDonalds.

A bit off topic but everyone in my family of origin had a specific food dislike...mushrooms, cheese, onions, fish...drove my mother crazy.

Yes. And if we feed our gut ( the immune system source) healthy things and fermented foods, then we fight that off. Bacteria is everywhere of course. But our culture is obsessed with clean clean clean, another brainwashing topic for else where perhaps. Certainly hard for me to Change. My. Mind. The world is not that dangerous.

Lol just like we put yard dirt/grass clumps in with our chicks when brooding....it inoculates them.

You know, I was too! Which really surprised me since my chickens are well kept and eat good food. I was like, actually grossed out when I picked up a warm egg. And in my career I have picked up plenty of things much grosser than a fresh laid egg. I gave myself a good talking to (silently of course) and I eventually got over it.
