I'm testing my Govees and my Little Giant for a hatch I'm starting this weekend. But I'm getting frustrated.
I have two Govees and an analog meat thermometer. I put the meat therm. in an ice water bath for 30 min. and it read 38F, so 6 degrees high. Then I placed all three next to one another for a while to get a room temp. reading. Subtracting 6 degrees from the meat therm. I calibrated the Govees with the app.
That was two days ago. Since then, about every 12 hrs. I check the Govees, see that they are around 1.5 to 2 degrees off from each other (sitting right next to one another) and I calibrate them again. The next 12 hrs. later, they are off again by 1 or 2 degrees.
I thought people loved these Govees and that they were supposed to be very accurate. What am I doing wrong?
