Tula, Emporda, Normandy and other unusual breeds

Yes, being saddle-back, but they´re quite small geese compared to poms. I guess similar genes, though, for the colouring. I think my two new ones look a bit like them, just that with the twente geese the both sexes are pied, as far as I can see...my new ones, only the females are. Isn´t it interesting to find out about all these different breeds that people have managed to develop over the years?

Yes, so geese like these from Europe...also the czech goose, pomeranian, probably were crossed with asiatic geese to produce some of the stunning breeds like the steinbacher.
Those other two chinese named geese are probably the original Africans, apparently. Did you find 'Lion Head'?
I didn't see you list it I'll go now.
Are these Lion Head? look like dewlap africans

Do you remember back in the late summer/fall someone posted pics of geese that look simular to this one? I don't remember name but she wasn't from around here. lol never posted again either but those geese were so cool looking.

Wonder where livin is, probably laying on a beach somewhere enjoying the heat. lol
