Looking at purchasing larger plucker for turkeys. Featherman Pro will do 1. Possibly Featherman Pro xl. Any suggestions?

We used the Pro this past year. We did 100 turkeys 1 at a time. Yes we plucked the big feathers first. I get my family to help me...it's a "mom" project...and am looking to make it easier for them. I love my Featherman Pro. We did birds from 15 to 30 lb. birds. No need for the xl unless you want to run multiple turkeys at once or 30+ pound birds. I have the pro and it does turkeys just fine. We've done up to 40 BBWs in a day no problem. Even works with the big birds if you hand pluck the big feathers from the wing and tail first.
Nice! Yes, didnt mean to imply that 40 in a day would be a maximum. 40 is just how many we raise each year.We used the Pro this past year. We did 100 turkeys 1 at a time. With my pro setup I can scald up to two birds at a time. With the plucker and heritage birds we have to remove the feet and neck to do two at a time, but with BBs it handles two at a time without a problem.@rjohns39 might know
We removed feet, but not necks. Thanks for the info. I had a hard time with neck removal until I figured it out. With my pro setup I can scald up to two birds at a time.
