.how much do I GIve.
Where do I get it. .

I just purchased it at Tractor Supply (Corid amprolium 20% soluble powder coccidiostat). I'm currently giving it to my goose at 1-1/2 teaspoons per gallon of water for 5 days.

Yes in some ways, but you are the only one who got back to me on Where to get Corid and how much to give it and how much water, so I am thanking You for that I felt like a dog trying to hold my head above water and I wasn't getting the answers I needed, so thank You.

The tom (tommy)'s poo has firmed up but the female (Trudy) is runny . . .3rd day on antibiotic, which is the only thing I could get my hands on and the local Feedmill suggested it. but today we ran to another Feedmill out of town that had Corid, so I am going to start that this afternoon. thanks for asking! Yeah, we were going to Have the turkey's for the holiday but my husband got attached to them and named them, so they will be Guests this year, we will probably eat the offspring. LOL

Due to some confusion on dose amounts regarding the powder, I decided to do some research and this is what I have so far. For those of you that use powder Corid, if you have been using 1/2 teaspoon per gallon (~270mg) you haven't been using enough.

The preventative dose (.006%) for Corid Powder is 1/3 teaspoon.
The preventative dose (.006%) for Corid liquid is 1/2 teaspoon.

The moderate outbreak dose (.012%) for Corid Powder is 3/4 teaspoon.
The moderate outbreak dose (.012%) for Corid liquid is 1 teaspoon.

The severe outbreak dose (.024%) for Corid Powder is 1.5 teaspoons
The severe outbreak dose (.024%) for Corid liquid is 2 teaspoon.

Corid mixing instructions for preventative (.006%) and moderate (.012%) outbreak dosing.

Now my question that im trying to find an answer to is . . . DO WE CHANGE THE WATER EVERY 24 HOURS OR IS IT EFFECTIVE TIL GONE

Oh my gosh! Here is another answer from another flockmaster. . . .so which one do we go with?
"mmaddies's mom, you're good at math. You're correct, 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water. Mix the corid daily with fresh drinking water for 5 consecutive days."

Heres what i did find that you can't overdose so i guess im going with 3/4 - 1 t per gallon and it's so good to know that we need to change water daily! for medicine to work
