I have 2 male royal palms. 1 is more timid. They do sleep in a high tree, however, one of them is not coming out of the tree at all. It has been 4 days. I am afraid he wil drop out of the tree dead. The other turkey goes up there at night with him. He knows how to come out of the tree. The 1st day, he just looked like he had forgotten how to get down or was nervous, but now that the other one keeps going up there with him, I am not sure what to do.
He is too high to climb to.

I only have the 2, any ideas? Surely he must be hungry. I think something must have scared him badly?
I don't see any injuries.
thanks

Turkeys are not helpless up in a tree. If they wish to come down they open their wings and glide down. It requires little energy.

Your turkey likely has a reason for remaining in the tree where it is safe. It probably means this turkey is sick and feeling vulnerable. There is little you can do unless you wish to climb up and snag the bird. If it is sick, it will either recover or fall out of the tree.

What happened with your turkey?? I have one in the tree now for 3 days. He paces around on the limb, puffs up and gobbles etc. but hasn’t come down. I’m worried he may be sick or being intimidated by our other Tom.
