Best of luck with the twins. I recently started a twins thread when I found a huge green egg with two separate yolks, one at each end, and two air cells, one at each end. I was so hoping they would be fertile but doesn't look like they were. All the other eggs from same hen were but the large double yolker didn't develop.

Keep us posted. Very exciting.

Cyn (Speckledhen) tried to hatch a double-yolker - lots of good info. on it in her thread if you can find it. If anyone could hatch one, SHE could! GOOD LUCK!!

I saw another post about someone with a double yolker.

I will try and find it for you.
But it is VERY VERY rare that the twins make it after they hatch(or even before they hatch)

But who knows, maybe you will be that lucky person to have some twins survive!

Post some pictures soon! I want to see how "big" this egg is.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post pics or videotape it! I have a hen that also lays double yolks, and I want to try to hatch twins! The problem is that although some people have claimed to sucessfully hatch twins, they don't have any evidence and I want to see it done WITH PROOF before I try. Good luck, I hope it works!!!
