Years ago when I had geese, and they would have goslings in the spring....The moms always shared their babies and mothering duties. Now, those geese were American Buffs....so I'm not sure if it was the breed or the personalities of the geese I had, but thats what mine did then. Behavior and mothering performance could vary with every flock and the particular breed of geese. I just thought my telling you my experience might help some.
