I am new to hatching eggs, and yesterday, we had this baby hatch out, but it still had its yolk attached. (The other hatched days ago and had already been removed, while we were waiting to see if anything else would hatch) It's been well over 24 hours and the yolk appears to be fully absorbed, but the umbilical cord is still fully attached and it's dragging around a part of the shell. I'm an borrowing this incubator, and I don't fully know how to use it (nor does the owner) and I'm afraid that the shell is going to get caught on something and yank it away from the bird. Is there anything I should be doing to assist?

DO NOT pull or tug on the cord at all.
Cut it like Sour said but be sure not to pull on it.
