So I've just joined, partially to ask this question. We have 1 chick that as its getting bigger is growing a bit of a mohawk. We know the breeds of all of our chickens except for this one. It started as just 1 feather sticking up about 2 weeks ago. Any ideas? My wife thinks Polish but I have to disagree, never had a polish though so I'm not an expert.

Looks like a Lakeshore Egger or an Easter Egger with Crested Cream Legbar in her. Could also be a Olive Egger with CCLB

Most of my new chicks this year are from local farms, but her and a couple others were from TS ... She was in the bin with the Comets, we got 2 "comets" and they looked the same at first. 1 of them looks like a comet .... This one does not.

I should probably clarify, by they looked the same I meant they were both yellow with light brown markings. The comet is now an orange-tan color and this one just looks so different.
