Hey i was I wondering if anyone on here knew what breed these guys are. My rooster is short but older and the hen is definitely younger but taller. Having issue breeding as the hen never allows rooster to mount. Really wanted to know their breed and Get tips on how to get them to mate.

Hen is a Wheaten gamebird of some sort. Not sure what exact breed though.

@Overo Mare could help :)

The hen is a Game hen. Looks like a Asil mix, based on the pea comb.

The rooster looks like a Leghorn mix.

They are not mating because the hen isn't okay with it. Based on what I can see, she's not laying eggs right now. Her comb is small and pale. She may be molting. (Correct me if I'm wrong.).
Until she is making eggs she will not let him mate her.

Not for all birds though. Do all of your birds do this?

I have seen pullets allow mating. They just do not squat for him. I would guess what you meant is that they do not squat until they are near or are laying. Since the hen is so tall, it may be the reason.

If she IS laying, I'm not sure what the problem is.
