I posted back in March to try to identify 2 chicks I got from my grandkids school which are now adults and have hatched their own chick (naturally without incubator). The hen is a Bantam and I think she is a Bantam New Hampshire and the Rooster is still unkown but seems to be maybe a mix type of cuckoo maran?? the Bantam hen disappeared and ended up sitting on her eggs she laid under a boat (I guess bantams are "broody") the cross breed chick I wonder if it is a hen?? here is pictures of the three:

The father of the chick is the nearly white/light grey rooster he has specks of black and a few spots of brown (the rooster further back was supposed to be a dominant copper pullet from feed store) the father is definitely the unknown breed white as chick has yellow feet and he is the only chicken with yellow feet and he grew up with the hen as a chick and they are "tight".

I think you've got mixed breeds here, which I always find interesting since I'm studying genetics. Your rooster is very handsome, regardless of his breeding!

The Bantam hen is probably the most beautiful chicken I have had so far as her coloring is really brilliant (especially her cape) and I love the black tail feathers

closer view of the chick which I am thinking is a hen but not positive yet.
