We had the traumatic hatch today. Full on unabsorbed yoke weak chick.
Now it's been several hours. Unfortunately it ruptured mess before I got him in cup so he ran in circles with all this everywhere he's dragging something. He's wet a mess and I want to clean it up. BUT is that what is best for the yoke area? He's alone in incubator. He's still alive and I don't know what to expect. Do I leave him warm and humid or do I clean up and apply ointment? It's a huge mess splatter all over he's soaked still. Or sticky?
Will he need to eat since there was so much unabsorbed yoke? Hallp please
he gets up falls over but he hasn't died so I feel like next decisions should be made? Feeding cleaning etc
