Update on Khan the skinny GSD

This is him the day we brought him home:

And this is him begging for his dinner a little too early in the day.

He has turned out to be one of the best rescues ever!!! He is now 8 months old and the biggest goofball on the planet. He is extremely friendly with people, but don't let another animal try to come into our back yard.

Also wanted to add -- so weird how they look with no muscle on them, their heads look alien!!!

Many years ago I saw a dobie grump that was skin tightly stretched over bones. As bad a case I've seen and the dog still alive. Because of where she was at I couldn't help but see her several times.
I made a "midnight run" one night and brought her home.It was a long recovery. She had the highest metabolisms I've seen. It took a lot of food but she was a beauty too when I got her straightened out.

Even his coloring looks different to me....maybe the camera or lighting. He still has a ways to go but is a million times better. Great work!
