Update! Had to readjust the bra due to it being too big for her! Yay!
She's starting to run from me and wander around the run. All signs point to yay!
That is a different suggestion, much like I think I'd only seen the Senokot suggested once--due to the laxative in it---which I get the precautions to use on a normal laying hen (if Ive read everything right lol)I have a chicken with similar issues. Hers are not as extreme, but she will get an impacted crop, and a saggy food boob if I don't monitor her diet. I wasn't comfortable with the suggestions I found online, soI took her to the chicken vet. She gave me Vetoquinol Laxatone Gel Hairball Control Supplement for Cats (2cc/ml 2 x day for 5 days). It's basically mineral oil.
You seem to be on top of it, but I wanted to throw it out there, since I've never seen it suggested before.
Mineral oil as far as I know. It's a thick gel, vs most oils. It doesn't really thin out like coconut oil does when warmed.I wonder what else that has in it to help. Much like using coconut oil? Either in frozen chunks or added to scramble eggs.
