Any update on this? I know it’s been 6 years but I just got a new hen from a bad situation and the tip of her beak is pretty much broken off. She only eats soft foods so I’ve been cooking for her. Has trouble eating her grain feed. Just tried adding water to the feed to make it soft like mash. Did your chickens beak ever grew back?
