Urgent! Ducks middle finger dangling by a thread.

We are newish to owning Ducks. One of our male Ducks got injured while we were gone over tbe weekend . He's been limping slowly and I just picked him up to find that his middle finger past the fist knuckle is almost completely ripped off and the Said ripped off toe is hanging on by just skin. Sadly it looks like it's beyond redoing and looks like what's left of his toe has already healed up. But because he has a piece of his toe that's dead but still attach but skin he's still walking funny . How do I get rid of the dead toe part that's hanging on by skin? .

Can you put him in a bathtub to soak for about an hour, clean the foot off, and take new pictures? It's hard to tell if the toe needs to be cut off.

Just put him in some water with some recover 911 water supplement. How should I clean his foot without him trying to run away?
