Urgent Help PLEASE..huge neck lump

Our hen looked like that after eating a garter snake. You are doing great and she will be fine!

A follow up, and thanks to all who helped the 'emergency' going into 'cures'.

Yesterday evening I opened the door to go out, and out went Goldie. Assuming that she would be happier in the coop, night falling and therefore not going to be eating, I let her go. (29 poos later

).

This morning we caught her up as she came out of the coop and.......NO lump....crop empty. Off she charged, ravenous and healthy looking.

The oil and massage worked like a dream

Thanks again to everyone who contributed, and hopefully others can follow this treatment if they find their hen has swallowed a melon.
