Thank you, if it doesn’t get better by the morning should i take it to a vet? Would they be able to help?

Maybe if you find an avian specific vet, I probably would, but many other vets just see poultry as a lost cause
I’ll tag a couple of more experienced people to see if they can help

You might find more help by posting on the duck forum under “Forums” at the top of this page. Videos must be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, Imgur or a similar place with a link posted here. Rapid breathing can be caused by stress or weakness, as well as heart or respiratory issues. Make sure the duckling is taking some sugar water or electrolytes often and eating food. I know little about ducks, so not very helpful.
