Hello. I am about to use Wazine 17 for roundworms. Nine of our hens are full size and two are bantams. How do I dose correctly since they all drink from same water sources? Thank you.

Wazine, which is no longer available for sale, is given in the water for 24 hours. Dosage is 30 ml (1 ounce) per a gallon of water for any size chicken. The amount they drink will give the proper dosage for their weight, if they are drinking a normal amount of water. Repeat in 30 days.

Thank you very much. One thing I don’t understand: They will drink more than a gallon in 24 hours (11 hens). Do I add Wazine when they drink all in the first day or go to plain water after the initial dose?

I have used Wazine for the past couple of summers, but when I went to buy more a week ago at Tractor Supply, they told me that it is now illegal to sell it in the state of Michigan. I'm curious where you are from, that you can still buy it?

I've used Wazine many times. Put the wazine treated water out for them first thing in the morning prior to letting birds out of the coop. It must be their sole source of water to drink during the day. When they go to roost in the evening, discard the treated water and put out regular fresh water for them to drink the next morning. Done.
