I got eggs set for the Valentine's Day hatch along if any body needs chicks around then or a day or two after.... I expect some infertiles from my own LF eggs due to the rooster still thinking winter but I set lots of extras from my own birds. There will be shizzle/sizzle/silkies, a few Marans, a few OE from SBEL hens, a few frizzled OE, and a few BSL. Then from youcluckingatme 12 EE from pretty brightly colored blue and green eggs (Meyer hatchery stock), a few BO, a few RIR or RSL, and a couple GLW and a few BR.
Woot, here we go! First hatch of the year. Let the games begin, haha

La Casa, where did you get your SBELs? My mom is in the market for some, she is in Salt Lake.

You can get them shipped from DMRippy if she has them ready , or get them from Birdguy in Idaho Falls. I ordered a batch already from Birdguy when he has them ready, he should be starting collecting pretty soon. I think he put the birds together around the 1st of January. If you search SBEL on here I have seen others with them also, but those are where mine are from.

I just filled the incubator with my first setting of the year. Hopefully in a few weeks there will be some new Tolbunts, Isbars, and Cream Legbars running around.

That is where I am from as well, my family is there. I went up last weekend but he had not started collecting yet. He has a rooster for me and then when he has collected a weeks worth of SBELS I was going to run back up there if no one from Id Falls was headed this way, I always check first haha I go up every month or so, or my mom comes here from Blackfoot.

If not I am hoping at the very least to keep a few extra chicks for you if I can get a good hatch.

I am not sure how many hens he has laying, if there are enough to lay more than 25-30 that he can collect in a weeks time I will grab extras for you and Sundance..... If not that many, I go every now and then and could get more on the next trip. I really like these, and want to keep 12 chicks, to try and get 6 hens, I have to rehome most of mine this year they are getting older. I will for sure keep your name written down if I get extras. I could see if he has chicks at chickenstock in May too if you still want them that late in the season.
