We’ve been noticing the chicks pooping with some red in there stool, and it seemed like everything was pointing to shed intestinal lining. The thing is, the poops like that happen almost everyday, and one of our chickens hasn’t grown much compared to the others. A vet friend (in training) of ours looked at the image below and thought that worms could be the answer, but I’m not so sure. What do you guys think?
Here’s a normal version of their red stool:

Here’s a picture of their most recent stool yesterday in the garden:

Since this is constant and happening everyday, it could be the start of Coccidiosis. I wouldn't expect it to be that often if it was intestinal shedding, though it does look more like that and since its only a tiny amount in the first picture. Also worms aren't common in chicks so I don't think that's it.
To be on the safe side I would treat your chicks using Corid (amprolium). It won't hurt them and if they do have Coccidiosis it will treat them for that.

I think we are going to start them on that medicine today just in case. Do you think they would be able to contract it if they were eating medicated feed for a bit? When they were 0-4 weeks, we did a half and half mix of medicated feed and organic feed. Do you think that makes them “immune?”

Definitely start them on it!
Yes, I think they could still get it even on Medicated feed. Medicated feed doesn't make them immune to it, but its more of a preventative. Medicated feed has small amounts of amprolium in it, which is what you want to use to treat for Coccidiosis.
