I am mom to 2 pot belly pigs. Vets around here are pig ignorant. All successful raising thus far is owed to forums like this one. Ms. Piggy is somewhere around 8 months old. She has been vomiting at least twice per day for a week. She is getting decent amount of water. She eats as usual. She is as active as usual. Three days ago a friend noticed a neck bump and touched it. It popped like a large pimple and seemed to hurt. I'm thinking maybe that was bee sting and unrelated. They do eat paper. This morning she even managed to eat a piece of glass when they broke the bowl that holds pig toys. I try to keep paper out of reach but they pull it out from nowhere. They are too smart. When this started I gave them ivomec dewormer on bread which was not the first dewormer. I dewormed them a month before that too. I do not know if poop is normal as i let them out back. She doesn't seem warmer than brother. Vomiting happens most often after given food and lying down on couch. About 4 weeks ago they both started drinking 10 times the water and they haven't stopped. Otherwise Wilbur has no unusual symptoms. I gave them coconut oil on bread this morning in case that might help with pooping. There is no lethargic behavior or turning down meals. If I had to guess I'd say this is an allergy to the pig food even tho they've been eating that for a while. Signs could also point to a blockage except she seems pain free. Please does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
