I have a pullet who has waddled since she hatched. I googled it it, but the only leg deformity I found was spraddled leg which it obviously was not since she can walk. Now I’m worried about the extent of her deformity, if there could be a complication when she starts laying. I’m also worried about whether or not she is in pain.

Please watch the video and tell me if you’ve seen anything like it and if you think she’s in too much pain.

As you can see, even her body is an odd shape and looks a little deformed. Since she was a chick she has always had A problem with poop getting stuck to her feathers. Poor Daffy. Is it kinder just to slaughter her?

Is she having any other issues? If it is a pelvic deformity as mentioned above, she might have laying issues or she might not ever lay an egg. If she's not in pain and doesn't have any deteriorating issues, I'd let her be to enjoy life as is.

Can you post some photos as well ? The video is good. I have some adult chickens that do get poop on there butt all the time, could be a deformity or the way the stool is too.
