If you find a good deal on that PA 63 please report that to me. Sorry for the hijack

Texan I wish I had bought a crate of them for the price I paid.

Its such a shame, when you think that moving to the country, will get you away from big city happenings!

I hope they rectify this soon for you and your family.

OK SOG(Southern Ohio Gun) has the PA 64 in stock for $169, same gun just a steal frame instead of the alloy frame, but still light weight. You should be able to find a shop to do the transfer for around $25 to $50. I usually get my ammo military surplus for around $10 a box, but that may have gone up a little.

People have been coming out to the country to do their "drug" business since the days of prohibition. It's nothing new. For years they've been coming out to the country with their traveling meth labs that they throw out the containers from along side our ditches...or renting an isolated farmhouse to grow their pot plants or cook their meth......much easier for them to do it out in the country than in town.

Not as easy as it used to be, the federal government uses military satellites to look for pot fields outdoors and heat signatures on homes. A lot of times a druggy is not arrested because they are collecting information for a series of arrests. Sometimes it can take a couple years. If your complaining and nothing is happening you can probably bet that it is a work in progress.

It sucks for the residents while these investigations carry on, besides the handgun I would suggest a guard dog.

Well, you can put up a tall fence and padlock it. That tends to keep all kinds of people from banging on my front door. Then you can let the dogs out into the yard to really give 'em a trip!!

I understand about the cost of the gun. I'm saving up for one myself, but not having much luck, seems like I may just buy it on a CC and pay it out that way....

Unfortunately, fencing is kinda pricy too - I go the cheap route and I still think it's awful expensive!!!!!

I"m a little concerned that they have a meth lab next door
those things tend to blow up
how far away is it from your house?

We have a problem up here too. I know a couple that crushed pain killers and put it into their babys bottle so he would sleep and they wouldnt be burdened with him... well something happend and they ended up giving him 4X of an over dose for a MAN! just makes me sick, what makes it worse? they plea bargained and are pretty much getting away with it.... sigh, I think plea barging is wrong and just saying "hey if you tattle you can get away with it"

ok well the owner of the property is the BIL to the lady that sold us ours. He is the Manufacturer and lives in a larger city near Dallas. So the neighbor lives there rent free because he is the dealer. BUT the only thing standing in the way is a will, the dad died lef 9/10 of an acre and this trailer to the let's call him terd. Ok so Terd lives near Dallas and he will not pay taxes on said property and hasn't for two years BUT property is in the lady I bought my house from's name still. It is complicated. We offered to her if she would get property 4k just to be rid of the scum and issues and there is about an acre of our land between us and neighbor. Actually the end of their trailer is right at the property line but we have a fence where pigs are

about 20 feet this side of their trailer. then their front yard is open to ours and my garden and orchard are between us. So lady I bought property from wants me to research and see if she can do a legal eviction on them since property is still in her name and see what rights the Terd has. She can't force him to pay the taxes but she said the property is hers if she pays for five more years the txes on it....can't wait that long. Watering garden this evening with kids and in an hour's time span I kid you not there were seven different vehicles in and out.

ok on the handgun I can't have anything with too much of a kick that is the deal with the shotgun. I broke my leg and ankle in february and had ortho surgery to put me back together I am still recovering and will never be the same. 13 screws and a 7 inch plate so I am crippled basically and I hobble along, cannot run, and walk with a severe limp.

I did report liscense , car descriptions, activities, when cars go in and out I call the task force guy. Here law enforcement is interested in the "big guys" well to me I already reported who the big guy is and so did this druggie gal.....actually told them where he lives remember he is the Terd that owns the property. When I call sherriff's office I get the "tone" you know like "oh my gosh it is THAT lady again" I don't care .....they say well we only have one patrol on nights....Are you kidding me? come on? where int he crap are all these taxes I am paying out the wazoo for going to?

ok they went in on the safety premise of the kids and no they are not back she keeps busting her drug tests through cps. So that somehow breaks the "probable cause" thing in some sort of way. They did take pictures. wooo hoooo.......Thank goodness hubby is back on days after tomorrow. so the saga continues.............
