Mounting is done by both genders. I have had does who have had litters (more than one) who would hump the buck when put in with him for breeding. Mounting is a dominance gesture in this case. If you are uncertain, pick Hope up while she is humping the other rabbit and flip her over to check. If Hope is actually a boy, the testicles should be very obvious right away since they will become red during periods of excitement.

Wow thanks MoC72 that is VERY informative. So the boys is and actual organ that has its own entity and the girls is all one "piece" of flesh that pops up. And the testicles are very out in the open so when my daughter gets home from school we'll do the examination on Hope and see what's what. Thank you guys for the info very much appreciated

No problem. Depending on age a boy bunny wont have visible testicles however it should still be fairly easy to sex them. Also if a female bunny is laying down she may have a dewlap, which is like prominent neck fat/skin around her neck. Good luck!
