Also Frontline for dogs (not cats). 2 drops large fowl. 1 drop bantam. It's persistent in the skin so only use if you're not going to be eating eggs for a long time. I usually only use if a broody I'm going to use for chicks shows signs of mites. It's also expensive.

Yes. There are a few things that kill the mites. I had a favorite rooster (only him) that became covered on mites very quickly and was anemic and dying. Was told to use the Frontline because it works the fastest. It can affect fertility for awhile, but being dead does too.
