Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I cooked the last of my beans this morning (yellow and rattlesnake) with new potatoes and garlic. The rest of the beans in the garden are for seed next year.

Truck's been running a little hot lately. I cleaned the radiator yesterday, didn't help much. I just picked up a new thermostat that I might install this morning.

Physical therapy appointment #2 this afternoon. Doing the exercises over the last week has definitely helped my pain and mobility problems. I'm going to stick to it this time.

I finally have enough tomatoes accumulated to make 6 pints of tomato sauce (1.5 gallons, crushed). And a whole lot more are coming on.

I put up 7 pints of tomato sauce today and I'm worn out. Everything went well until my propane burner on the back porch quit working.

I strained out the skins and seeds and ran them through the blender.

I finished it inside but didn't reduce the tomatoes as much as I wanted to. I have about a quart of sauce left over so I can make chicken sort-of cacciatore again.

@ValerieJ I lost the other thread we're on. Anyhow...
The ladies got to have a couple salmon carcasses to pick on today. They weren't so sure at first, but when I last checked, they were happily getting snacks. Life in the PNW.
What a great treat! That would be so good for them!

looks beautiful! Interesting jars. They look like quarts to me.
