Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Its the jealousy. He loves sauerkraut. I can make kimchi for myself.

He only gets the tuna that I can because salts always added too. Thats another favorite problem food

I have no space for a freeze dryer. Tiny house. Maybe if we ever get a shop built.
We have our freeze dryer in a room adjacent to the garage that is sort of our everything room. We call it the rabbit hole because it is set up to be an off grid refuge if we all lose power for a long period of time. We have wood burning stove and propane stove out there. Then we also have been adding exercise equipment to it because we gave up our gym membership. Takes 45 min to get to the gym and we weren't getting anything else done. I have my desk and "office" at one end. Why not add a freeze dryer to the mix? 😁

Was on the #tsc site the other day ordering our supplies and was looking at when the chicks would be available to buy. And was surprised that they were since I looked afew weeks ago and they were not. Any ways place my feed order and kept on going. Received an email the next day that my chickens were shipping :eek:what now I can't go to the store with out bringing them home and obviously can't look at them on line with out buying them .
I didn't even realize that I had added them to my cart. They were to arrive Friday but got a call this morning that they were at the post office for me to pick up. At least it was just 10 of them :lau

Oh no! Just seeing them is making ME go broody! :gig They are very cute! Good luck with them!

I'm hoping my girls will go broody and give us the chicks we need. We have our rooster, who is actually just a month shy of being a proper rooster, and we're hoping this one is fertilizing the right hens. We have several old ladies, living out their golden years here. But we do have some young ones too.
