Sun is out still 26.
Second cup of coffee bought oatmeal for the chickens.
Fiber is good for them also.
Dump one bag today then the other in like in a week.

Do you cook the oatmeal, or just give it to them dry. Do you buy regular oatmeal from the grocer?

I buy it at Costco two big bags give it dry.

27 here darn cold. Did get good news on Richard, the kidney stone is gone.
The Doctors will remove the stint then he can come home.

Was on the #tsc site the other day ordering our supplies and was looking at when the chicks would be available to buy. And was surprised that they were since I looked afew weeks ago and they were not. Any ways place my feed order and kept on going. Received an email the next day that my chickens were shipping what now I can't go to the store with out bringing them home and obviously can't look at them on line with out buying them .
I didn't even realize that I had added them to my cart. They were to arrive Friday but got a call this morning that they were at the post office for me to pick up. At least it was just 10 of them

Holy cow!!!! Did they all survive the shipping, it’s so cold . I have received some in April and had 3 die from hypothermia

It was dry enough I could run the mower through the yard, chickens loved the clippings.
I have an order for chicks coming in July.

Wow house finally came to temp.
The one thing here the house was built without a furnace.
We have 3 rooms with baseboard heat not real economical.
I just bought another baseboard heater for the kitchen.
