Yep, pretty cute. Spur of the moment decision to get them, but I'm glad I did.

I love that big outdoor area for the chickens! Safe and spacious!Good Friday morning,
Wed. I got all the newly chipped wood chips hauled up to the coop run, the chickens are happy with it and I left a dirt bath area.

Yesterday I got all the dead stuff clipped, ya know after you prune in Jan. you dont really get all that is not alive until you can see it in spring. so the plum get a trim, the apple and pear looked good.

I'm with you on no chicks in the house. I have a brooder set up in the coop. Works great.I just finished planting the last of my yellow onions, around 100 plants. If they all grow I'll end up with around 200 yellow onions and 75 shallots.
One of the potatoes I planted last October is poking out of the ground.
The chicks are all doing great. No poopy butts! I'm figuring out a way to set up a rabbit-cage brooder that will be in the secure chicken run outdoors. The sooner the better as far as I'm concerned because I really dislike having chicks inside the house
