Watch Dates on Poultry Feed!

We always check the mill date on every bag before we buy it! Many stores have issues like this, and it's just necessary to pay attention to every bag!
Here our local TSC's are short handed, and while some staffers care to rotate stock, others either are too busy, or don't care, and nothing is done about it.
Where it can be really bad is the small bags of feed, often very old, and illegible labels.
Here we have other feed stores who do much worse, where feed seems never fresh, at least when I happen to be there and look.

How do I check / look for the mill date on the bag? I looked everywhere on my bag I got from TSC and couldn't find any kind of date.

I checked and couldn't find it anywhere on the sewed on paper.
I had contacted Nutrena about mine as our local feed store said they couldnt do anything. Plus my local store is selling feed thats a bit over 6 months old. And nutrena says the feed should be used within 3 months.
Here is the picture that they included in the email.

Have seen this issue for awhile now with TSC in particular. And the missing tags thing as well. And in my experience, their feed tends to have bug infestations more often than not, even on their newer feeds. Fortunately, I have a couple of long time family owned feed and farm supply stores relatively close to where I live that don't seem to have older feed in their inventory or bug problems.
