We took our five week old call duckling camping!

Our little duckling, Teddy, wasn't quite ready to be mixed with the rest of my flock as we were getting ready to go on a camping trip.

So I decided to bring him along! He rode in the truck happily (a 6 hour trip there and back home) and enjoyed hanging out around the campground with us. There was even a small creek behind our site for him to swim and play in.

Thought I'd share some pictures of his experience! It was so fun having him along and it wasn't much extra work at all. We also had our two cats, Kali and Sweetpea, as well as our dogs, Lexi and Jaden. They all did so well and it has already become a cherished memory.

so cute! we take our ducks and younger cat places all the time and they love it. the older cat won't go anywhere though
